Writing: What do you do at the weekend?

This is what I normally do at the weekends.

On Sundays I always play with my guinea pig. I never play basketball because I don't like it.

I usually visit my grandparents in the afternoon.

On Saturdays I hardly ever do crafts, I always study or do my homework.

I never walk the dog because I don't have a dog. 

I usually cook on Saturday and Sundays and also on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

What do you like doing and when?

I like doing crafts and I sometimes do crafts using slime. I like meeting friends . I always meet friends at school. I like visiting my grandparents. I usually visit them .

I'm going to tell you about my older brother Guillem.

First of all, I will start with a brief introduction. Guillem is twenty years old and was born on August 8th, 2001. He lives in L'Espluga de Francolí with my father Angel, my mother Isabel, and myself, despite studying Law in Lleida because he wants to become a lawyer in a buffet. 

Guillem is tall. He has brown and curly hair and green eyes. When he was young and we were going on holidays, he was always taken for a foreigner.

He likes football and plays for a team in L'Espluga. He also likes watching the matches and going to la Penya de l’Espluga and he also likes going to the football fields to watch them with their friends. 

He also likes going mountain running, a hobby we share. Sometimes we go hiking to some important mounts of Catalonia such as the Aneto or the Pedraforca. When we were kids we liked going gardening with my grandfather and now we still go there sometimes. It is an activity we have always done and which we like a lot.

He also really likes the beach. He loves cooking and often prepares delicious food for us, especially on special occasions.

I  have done this presentation about him because he is a person I do admire. He looks like a serious person but in fact, he is quite the opposite. He is really funny and has a sense of sarcastic humor. He is friendly and kind. Guillem is intelligent and finds it easy to speak in public. Even though our personalities are very different we get along very well.

Finally, I would like to add that he is one of the people from whom I learn the most, and he is very honest with me. I know I can always count on him.

You  do this in the garden. You plants seeds and watch the grow.

SHOULD WE STOP USING BOOKS FOR EDUCATION?

 Should we stop using books for education?

Currently, the debate about the use of books in school has risen. From my point of view, I think the use of books is essential for the learning process.

First of all, the use of screens is becoming a problem for kids and teenagers. Due to the use of these technologies, some kids have become addicted to electronic devices, so if these technologies were restricted in schools, kids would be less addicted, and they would also have fewer vision problems.

Books help you remember things, and when you use them, you learn faster. For that reason, I think the use of books is necessary. 

Moreover, books provide a lot of information that sometimes is difficult to find on the internet.

To summarise,  using books is essential to learn and I believe that books are an excellent educational tool so as to achieve every student's goal.  I firmly believe that the educational system should maintain the use of books in order to improve the kids' learning process.
